This European plant has been used consistently since the middle ages. Learn the techniques for devloping a madder root dye bath to create deep reds and lighter hues of coral and orange.

*NOTE: Materials fee may be waived for classes with an asterisk – provided students bring their own pre-mordanted fabric. Mordanting your fabric takes on extra risk and reward in the success of your dye projects. With exceptions for advanced students there are two options:
- Purchase your own pre-mordanted fabric or
