Campers entering grades 2-8 will immerse in an agriculture and arts-based curriculum designed to grow their relationships to their food and the natural world in a safe, supportive, and fun environment at Flying Pig Farm! Students entering grades 9-12 will have opportunities to learn cooking and leadership skills as assistant counselors and chefs.
Activities including animal care, food harvesting, daily movement, nature based art projects in varied mediums, and camp games will accompany learning about the care of plants, animals, and selves. We will have special visits from community workshoppers! Previous years’ workshoppers have included Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Concrete Couch, and RAW Tools. This years workshops will be announced as the camp dates draw nearer.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 8:30-12:30 (this is different from past years!!)
