Forest Immersion Walks: Final Sunday of each month

Winter Hours: 9:30 am-12:00 pm

Forest bathing, also sometimes referred to as forest therapy, is a research-based health and wellness practice held in a forest or other natural setting with the intention of offering physical and emotional connection to the land, oneself and others.

Rather than having a destination to reach, such as in hiking or mountain biking, forest bathing is an immersion in the medicine of the forest and ecosystem. The destination is achieving a sensory and somatic, emotional and often spiritual connection with the forest.

Forest bathing immersions are typically 2 -3 hours long and cover a very small distance. prompts for what to do, also referred to as invitations, are offered as ways to connect with the land. At the end of each immersion, the guide offers an informal tea ceremony accompanied by some snacks.
